 In this class I hope to lean how technology will help improve my skills as a teacher. I would love to learn how new devices of technology is going to impact the field of education. I also want to see how AI can be used in the classroom in a helpful way rather than a way a student can cheat. I also really want to meet teachers and future teachers and see what knowledge they have about his field. This class will help me for when I become a teacher in the future and I will be able to use technology  to its fullest capabilities which will help my students learn. 


I use to work in childcare which put in contact of a smart board. I use the smart board to put educational videos on and I also used it play games with them. I also came in contact with a iPad which held all of an attendance and important information for each student. Because my mom is a teacher I came in contact with a projector and I was about use to show documents to a class. Also as a student in high school my school gave us laptops to do all of our assignments on which were found on google classroom. 


I love learning about history which is one of the reason why I'm a history major. To grow my knowledge of history I watch documentaries on Disney Pulse and I watch many videos about history on YouTube. I'm also taking a world history class right now which helps my knowledge grow. But when it comes to education which I'm trying to learning about as well, I have a great group of people that know about the field of education like my mom, my past teachers and some of my current teachers. They give me great advice and answer all of my questions that I have about the field of education.

When I was in school from K through 12, we never used word as our chosen way of writing for writing our essay. Now that I'm at FSU it is a very big game changer on how much the school promotes word and how many of my professors expect us to use for it. So I find that word is very complicated and I don't even fully understand all the components that has to offer. In comparison throughout K through 12 we use Google Docs as our chosen way of writing essays and doing assignments. I'm more used to Google Docs because I know of all the features that offers to my long exposure to it. Google Docs is my preferred use of technology when it comes to writing assignments. The most important ISTE Standard of education is learning. No one knows anything right away. They have to spend time learning about it and then in the sense for a teacher they have to learn how to adapt that to their teaching style.   When it comes to copyright and fair use in the classroom, I don't believe there should be that big of a band. I always believe that Teacher should help each other out which will lead to even better teachers. So when I become a teacher, I will not be putting any copyright restrictions on any of my materials because I really believe that teachers should be able to have access to any materials to help their students. Also, I really thought copyright it had a lot more strict rules to it and that you would have to go through a very special process to get a copyright on your materials, but it turns out that's not true. I learned that copyright is very simple and straightforward. You can get your copyright license very easily.
